The Sponsor Option is all about adding value for our customers, the community and environment.
It is a unique order option from Havasak™ where reusable bag buyers, advertisers and consumers benefit equally!

What is it?

The Sponsor Option is an innovative online order feature that enables a Buyer to invite a third party as a Sponsor to co-promote on their reusable bags in return for a discount. The Sponsor pays to advertise on the bags the Buyer (eg. retailer or event organiser) receives and distributes.

The Buyer chooses a Havasak "green partner" (non-profit cause or charity) in the order process to benefit from a portion of the Sponsor proceeds, and the rest of the Sponsor proceeds go to subsidising (discounting) the cost of the bags for the Buyer.

 
  This is a value-add option for supplying reusable promotion bags. Havasak do NOT profit from Sponsor advertising.  
 


How does it work?

The process is guided by the Havasak online order system. Registered Buyers and Sponsors collaborate through the Havasak website via a sequence of order functions, graphical displays, status updates and email notifications.

Sponsor replies can be viewed ONLY by the respective Buyer and Sponsor or their Havasak representative.

 
 


Buyer unit price: When the Buyer ticks "Invite a Sponsor" to obtain pricing or enter an order, a percentage discount is applied to the unit price for the quantity entered.

Donation: The donation to the nominated "green partner" is determined by a percentage of the unit price. Reports detailing the proceeds raised by Buyer and Sponsor co-promotions are run quarterly and distributed to the respective "green partners" along with a cheque for the proceeds.

Sponsor unit price: The Sponsor price is determined by adding:
     * The discount given to the Buyer for their order
     * The donation to the nominated "green partner"
     * Print costs plus a small infrastructure fee

Note: Havasak maintain the percentage breakdown based on customer feedback and market forces.

Who would be a Buyer and who would be a Sponsor?

A Buyer takes stock (receives) the bags, and a Sponsor advertises on the Buyer's bags.

As a Buyer, who would Sponsor my order and how do they find out?

The most likely Sponsor will be an advertiser aligned with your brand, message and market. More than one Sponsor can reply to a Buyer invitation so you get to choose a Sponsor that suits your marketing needs.

IMPORTANT: Whilst Havasak aim to seek compatible Sponsors for Buyer invitations through a growing network of partners, it is not our core business. We do NOT guarantee a Sponsor will be found in any given timeframe, nor do we control who will reply to a Buyer invitation and their compatibility.

Buyers are encouraged to help find prospective Sponsors through their established networks and relationships. Prospective Sponsors can Sign In to the Havasak website to view and express interest in Buyer invitations.

As a prospective Sponsor, how do I know the Buyer will choose me?

There is no guarantee you will be chosen. You will maximise your chance if your brand and advertising message is compatible with the Buyer's brand, message and market. Having an existing business relationship or association with a Buyer may be an advantage but not essential.

IMPORTANT: The Sponsor is chosen by the Buyer and is in no way controlled by Havasak.

What are the benefits?

Havasak online ordering guides the co-promotion process and minimises handling per order.

The incentive for the Buyer is a lower unit price and credibility with consumers as environmentally and socially responsible.
The Sponsor receives the same credibility plus the benefits of a highly effective advertising medium.
The consumer benefits through lower prices passed on by the Buyer and by supporting their community and environment.
